Heather Nichole | Retreat Leader, Coach & Yoga Teacher

I guide women back to themselves — through movement, breath, adventure, and real connection. After years of leading retreats and supporting women through burnout and big life transitions, I know this transformation doesn’t happen when you push harder.
It happens when you finally feel safe enough to let go.
Salt and Soul Costa Rica isn’t just a trip.
It’s a reset for your nervous system.
A return to your body. A reminder of who you are when you’re supported, seen, and allowed to exhale.
I’ll hold the container so you don’t have to hold it all. You get to soften. Expand. Feel. And come back to yourself in a way that actually sticks.
Your all-inclusive retreat experience includes luxurious accommodations, daily yoga and somatic practices, nourishing breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. As well as guided activities in Costa Rica connection and creativity workshops, and all ground transportation for planned excursions throughout the retreat.
Yes! We know an investment like this deserves flexibility. Every room option includes a payment plan at checkout, no need to pay in full upfront.
Prefer something custom to fit your situation? Message me directly and we'll create a plan that works for you.
And if you're coming with a friend, ask me about our Bestie Deal it is a great way to make this experience even more affordable when you book together.
Yes — you’ll have the option to add things like:
• Spa treatments and massage
• Costa Rican cooking class
• Kayaking, Hiking and Horseback Riding are included
Not at all! Our session will be a good fit for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. We will offer modifications for every pose, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported on their mat.
You’ll fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR) in Costa Rica.
We’ll provide a group shuttle to and from the retreat at set times, so once you land, you’re taken care of.
Because the shuttle runs at specific times, we recommend arriving a day early and leaving the day after the retreat. This makes the travel experience feel much more relaxed and ensures you don’t feel rushed.
Full travel details and exact timing will be shared after booking.
Not at all. The experiences are designed to feel supportive, fun, and accessible. You can join the kayaking, horseback riding, ocean time, and group activities at your own pace.
Coming solo is actually perfect! About 70% of our attendees arrive on their own, specifically seeking to form new connections. We design our activities to foster natural bonding, and our community-style meals and sharing circles help solo travelers quickly feel part of our retreat family.
All meals are prepared by a private chef using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
You’ll enjoy 3 nourishing meals each day (AND a light breakfast to ease into your mornings)
Meals are shared, and this is one of the most loved parts of the experience.
We can accommodate dietary needs including vegetarian, gluten-free, and more.
There’s a rhythm to each day — but plenty of space within it.
Mornings might start slow… coffee, ocean air, and movement to bring you back into your body.
From there, the day opens up — time for the beach, rest, or choosing a little adventure.
Whether that’s getting out on the water, exploring nature, or trying something new.
Afternoons are spacious — connection, workshops, or doing absolutely nothing.
Evenings are where everything softens — shared meals, real conversations, and practices like sound baths to help your body settle.
It’s structured enough to feel held,
and open enough to let you follow what you need — rest, movement, or adventure.
Pack light, breathable clothing for warm Costa Rica days, swimwear, sandals, comfortable walking shoes, yoga clothes, a light layer for evenings, reef-safe sunscreen, bug spray, a reusable water bottle, and any personal items you need.
WiFi is available throughout the retreat house for those who need to stay connected, though we encourage taking breaks from screens whenever possible. Many guests choose to unplug during ocean time, group practices, and shared meals so they can fully experience the beauty and ease of Costa Rica.
We highly recommend buying travel insurance. This will protect your investment if you need to cancel your trip last-minute due to injury, illness or an unexpected event. You can also add "Cancel for any reason" to your travel insurance plan as well for a slightly additional cost. Due to the nature of the retreat and the costs incurred, we are not able to offer refunds directly.
We create a private online community and a 1 month community space for each retreat group, where you can stay connected long after returning home. Many past participants have organized reunions, visited each other across the globe, and even returned to future retreats together. The bonds formed at our retreats truly become part of your extended family.
Most of our retreats and circles draw women in midlife — typically ages 40 to 70. We’ve also had women in their 30s and women well into their 70s. The common thread isn’t age — it’s the desire for peace, connection, and community. Many women come solo and leave with new friendships that last well beyond our time together.
