The Roaming Sisterhood Presents

Ireland: A Women's Retreat into Story, Land & Sisterhood

Six days at a historic Irish estate, where myth, movement, and wild beauty create space to come home to yourself.

There are places you visit. And there are places that change the way you see.
This is an invitation to the second kind.

Come with us to the wild west of Ireland, to a secluded manor surrounded by ancient trees, a lake, gardens and ruins, beneath the mountains and mythic landscapes of County Sligo.

For six days and five nights, we'll step outside the familiar and into a timeless, wilder way of being — because sometimes you have to leave your ordinary world to remember who you are inside it.

This Retreat Is For You If…

You're Craving Something Real

Not another wellness trend. A place where story, land and sisterhood actually change something.

"You're fascinated by Ireland — not just its scenery, but its stories, mythology and mysteries."
"You want something deeper than the same algorithm-friendly Goddess Spirituality all over social media."
"You're craving a few days away from the usual rhythm of work, responsibilities and everyday life."
"You have a feeling that life could be a little more interesting than work, bills, and waiting for the next holiday."
A Landscape Layered with Memory

This is Ireland beyond the postcard.

Sligo is a place where landscape and story seem to meet at every turn. Rising above the county is Knocknarea, crowned by the great cairn associated with Queen Maeve, the legendary warrior queen of Connacht.

Across the surrounding landscape are some of Ireland's most remarkable megalithic sites — monuments built thousands of years ago and still woven into the character of the land today. This is also Yeats country — mountains, lakes, folklore and imagination that shaped one of Ireland's most celebrated poets.

During our time here, we'll experience these places not simply as beautiful sights, but as landscapes carrying stories, memories and layers of Irish tradition.

Why We Start With a Conversation

Why Book a Call?

This retreat is intentionally small — an intimate group, not a crowd. That means the right fit matters more than a fast checkout. A quick call isn't a sales pitch. It's a few minutes to figure out which room, which payment plan, and whether this retreat actually fits your life — so you show up ready, not scrambling.

Heather

Heather

Founder, The Roaming Sisterhood

I guide women back to themselves through movement, breath, adventure, and real connection. After years leading retreats and supporting women through burnout and big life transitions, I know transformation doesn't happen when you push harder — it happens when you finally feel safe enough to let go.

I'll hold the container so you don't have to hold it all.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ireland in September can be wonderfully unpredictable — and we're embracing that. Outdoor excursions are weather-dependent, but a little rain won't stop us. Bring layers, walking shoes, a waterproof jacket, and a sense of adventure. If plans change, Temple House offers plenty indoors: crafts, games, journaling, meditation and fireside time.

Not at all! Our sessions are a good fit for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. We offer modifications for every pose, so everyone feels comfortable and supported on their mat.

Yes, and most women do. Retreats are designed to turn strangers into sisters fast.

We provide a shuttle from Dublin Airport on the day the retreat begins, with a stop along the way. We recommend flying in the evening before and staying at an airport hotel so you're rested and ready to begin the following morning.

Yes! We know an investment like this deserves flexibility. Every room option includes a payment plan, so there's no need to pay in full upfront. Prefer something custom to fit your situation? Message me directly and we'll create a plan that works for you — and if you're coming with a friend, ask about our Bestie Deal.

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. This protects your investment if you need to cancel last-minute due to injury, illness, or an unexpected event — you can also add "cancel for any reason" coverage for a small additional cost. Due to the nature of the retreat and the costs we incur on your behalf, we're not able to offer refunds directly.
