“I felt totally safe, welcomed, and came home to myself."

I can’t begin to express what this experience meant for me. Heather is amazing! She truly brings women to a new place—with her guidance and the right tools to come home to yourself. I felt totally safe, welcomed, and appreciated. The daily fresh meals were delicious, and the week was filled with yoga, breathwork, sound baths, hikes, hugs, laughs, and a beautiful sisterhood.

“From booking to coming home—it was all taken care of.”

I attended a retreat in Portugal and the entire experience—from booking my spot to arriving back home—was truly amazing. It was relaxing with just the right amount of challenge, and the community connections were incredible. Heather puts so much care into every detail. The accommodations and food were top notch. Highly recommended.

“I can’t wait to join her again.”

This was an absolutely stunning venue for a life-changing experience. Heather was the most wonderful and inspiring leader. Her care and kindness to everyone was felt deeply. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the group experiences created such meaningful connection. I can’t wait to join her again for another retreat.

Heather Nichole | Retreat Leader, Coach & Yoga Teacher

I've spent years in Yosemite.
Not as a tourist, as someone who showed up before sunrise, stayed until the light disappeared, and learned the park the way you only can when it becomes part of your work and your life.
For over a decade, I guided couples through Yosemite as a destination elopement photographer. That meant hiking trails most people never find, knowing exactly when and where the light hits, and discovering the hidden pockets that don't show up on any map.
I know where the crowds aren't. I know where the magic is. I know how to experience this place in a way that feels expansive instead of overwhelming.
That knowledge is yours on this retreat.
Beyond the trails, I'm a coach, yoga teacher, and retreat leader who guides women back to themselves through movement, breath, adventure, and real connection. I've walked my own path through burnout and big life transitions, and that's exactly what shaped this work.
This retreat brings both worlds together. The trails. The transformation. The sisterhood.
You don't have to plan it, hold it, or figure it out. Just show up. I've got the rest.
Your retreat includes everything you need for a grounded, connected, and adventure-filled experience in Yosemite.

Thoughtful, curated touches throughout
Not at all! Our session will be a good fit for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. We will offer modifications for every pose, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported on their mat.
The retreat takes place at AutoCamp Yosemite, located near Midpines, California — just outside of Yosemite National Park.
The easiest airport to fly into is Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), which is about a 1.5 hour drive. You can also fly into San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK), both about a 3 to 3.5 hour drive.
Getting to AutoCamp: You'll need to drive or arrange your own transportation to the retreat. A rental car is the easiest option, and we'll connect everyone in a group chat before the retreat so you can coordinate carpools or share rentals if you'd like.
Getting around during the retreat: Once you arrive, we've got you covered! We provide transportation to and from all trailheads and viewpoints throughout the retreat — so once you're here, you can fully relax and let us handle the logistics.
Coming solo is actually perfect! About 70% of our attendees arrive on their own, specifically seeking to form new connections. We design our activities to foster natural bonding, and our community-style meals and sharing circles help solo travelers quickly feel part of our retreat family.
Meals are included as part of your retreat experience!
You'll enjoy 3 chef-prepared dinners and 2 boxed to-go lunches crafted by a local chef using fresh, seasonal ingredients — so you can focus on being present instead of thinking about where to eat.
Breakfasts are on your own, which gives you the freedom to ease into your mornings at your own pace. Your Airstream kitchenette has everything you need for simple morning meals, and the lodge on site has coffee, drinks, and light bites available throughout the day.
If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, just let us know when you book — we'll make sure you're taken care of.
Each day is designed to feel spacious, grounding, and connected with a balance of adventure, movement, and time to simply be.
We’ll start some mornings early with sunrise hikes, or ease into the day with coffee, quiet, and gentle movement.
Midday is for exploring Yosemite together guided hikes, iconic viewpoints, and time out in nature.
You’ll also have space for yoga, workshops, and nervous system resets woven throughout the experience.
Afternoons are intentionally open so you can rest, spend time by the pool, journal, or just enjoy being outside.
Evenings are for slowing down by the campfire and connection, and those moments where everything starts to settle.
Nothing is forced, and everything is invitational.
Yosemite in May can be warm during the day and cooler in the mornings and evenings, especially in the mountains.
Here’s a simple guide:
Comfortable hiking clothes (leggings, shorts, breathable tops)
Layers (light jacket, sweatshirt, or fleece for cooler mornings/evenings)
Good hiking shoes or trail runners
Sandals or easy slip-ons for around camp
Yoga or lounge clothes
Swimsuit (for pool time)
Reusable water bottle
Daypack for hikes
Sunglasses + hat
Sunscreen
Any personal snacks or favorite foods
Optional but nice to have:
Journal + pen
Headlamp or flashlight
Cozy blanket or wrap for evenings
Camera or phone for photos
WiFi is available throughout the retreat house for those who need to stay connected, though we still encourage taking breaks from screens whenever possible. Many guests choose to unplug during hikes and group activities to fully experience the beauty and calm of the desert.
We highly recommend buying travel insurance. This will protect your investment if you need to cancel your trip last minute due to injury, illness or an unexpected event. You can also add "Cancel for any reason" to your travel insurance plan as well for a slightly additional cost. We recommend IMG Global for Travel Insurance. Due to the nature of the retreat and the costs incurred, we are not able to offer refunds directly.
We create a private online community and a 1 month community space for each retreat group, where you can stay connected long after returning home. Many past participants have organized reunions, visited each other across the globe, and even returned to future retreats together. The bonds formed at our retreats truly become part of your extended family.
Most of our retreats and circles draw women in midlife — typically ages 40 to 70. We’ve also had women in their 30s and women well into their 70s. The common thread isn’t age — it’s the desire for peace, connection, and community. Many women come solo, and leave with new friendships that last well beyond our time together.
