Wild + Unplugged: Yosemite 2027

Three nights to put down your phone, hike the most iconic trails in the world, and remember who you are outside of everything you carry.

May 16–19, 2027 AutoCamp Yosemite 3 Nights / 4 Days

From $2,100 with a friend, $2,600 for your own Airstream

Your Airstream, chef-prepared meals, guided hikes and park transport are handled. You just get to Fresno.

Coming On Your Own

Come alone. You won't experience it alone.

Seven in ten of our guests book solo. Most had the same thought you might be having right now: what if I don't know anyone?

That's sort of the point. Nobody on the trail already knows your history, so you get to show up as who you are now.

Meet before campRide the shuttle from Fresno and you'll know half the group before you reach camp.
Nothing to figure outTrails, timing, transport to trailheads and dinner are handled. You never have to plan alone.
A small circleSmall on purpose. By the first campfire, nobody is on their own.
Nervous? Talk It Through →

You don't need another perfectly planned vacation.
You need space. You need fresh air.
You need to feel something again.

This retreat is for the woman who's been holding it all together, and is ready to put it down for a few days.

To breathe. To move. To laugh in a way that surprises her. To remember who she is outside of everything she carries.

No overplanning. No overwhelm. Just the right places at the right time.

I'll take you to the spots most people miss.

Getting There

Fly into Fresno. We'll take it from there.

AutoCamp Yosemite sits right off Highway 140 in Midpines, just outside the park. Two easy ways to get there.

Book your flight into Fresno Yosemite International (FAT). It's the closest airport, about 1.5 to 2 hours from camp. San Francisco and Oakland also work, but add a 3 to 3.5 hour drive.
Easiest

Ride the retreat shuttle

  • Pickup at Fresno airport on arrival day, and drop off there when we wrap
  • Exact pickup and return times are sent about six months before the retreat, so you can book flights around them
  • A grocery stop on the way to grab snacks, drinks and anything you want in your Airstream fridge
  • No mountain driving, no parking, and you meet the group before you arrive
More freedom

Rent a car

  • Pick up at Fresno airport and head north into the Sierra foothills
  • About 1.5 to 2 hours on winding mountain highway, so plan to arrive in daylight
  • Grab groceries before you leave town, stores get sparse once you're in the mountains
  • Once you're at camp, park it. We drive everyone to every trailhead
  • Want to share? We connect the group in a chat beforehand so you can carpool

Not sure which is right for you? That's exactly what the call is for.

From Past Retreats

What happens when you say yes

"I felt totally safe, welcomed, and came home to myself."

I can't begin to express what this experience meant for me. Heather is amazing! She truly brings women to a new place, with her guidance and the right tools to come home to yourself. I felt totally safe, welcomed, and appreciated. The daily fresh meals were delicious, and the week was filled with yoga, breathwork, sound baths, hikes, hugs, laughs, and a beautiful sisterhood.

"From booking to coming home, it was all taken care of."

I attended a retreat in Portugal and the entire experience, from booking my spot to arriving back home, was truly amazing. It was relaxing with just the right amount of challenge, and the community connections were incredible. Heather puts so much care into every detail. The accommodations and food were top notch. Highly recommended.

Debby H.

"I can't wait to join her again."

This was an absolutely stunning venue for a life-changing experience. Heather was the most wonderful and inspiring leader. Her care and kindness to everyone was felt deeply. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the group experiences created such meaningful connection. I can't wait to join her again for another retreat.

Meet Your Retreat Host + Hiking Guide

Heather Nichole

I've spent years in Yosemite. Not as a tourist, but as someone who showed up before sunrise, stayed until the light disappeared, and learned the park the way you only can when it becomes part of your work and your life.

For over a decade, I guided couples through Yosemite as a destination elopement photographer. That meant hiking trails most people never find, knowing exactly when and where the light hits, and discovering the hidden pockets that don't show up on any map.

Beyond the trails, I'm a coach, yoga teacher and retreat leader who guides women back to themselves through movement, breath, adventure and real connection. This retreat brings both worlds together. The trails. The transformation. The sisterhood.

You don't have to plan it, hold it, or figure it out. Just show up. I've got the rest.

Fly into Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT). It's the closest airport, about 1.5 to 2 hours from AutoCamp Yosemite in Midpines. San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) also work, but they're a 3 to 3.5 hour drive.

Option 1, the retreat shuttle: we pick up at Fresno airport and stop at a local grocery store on the way so you can grab snacks and supplies. Exact pickup and return times are sent about six months before the retreat so you can book your flights around them.

Option 2, rent a car: pick up at Fresno airport and drive north into the foothills. Plan to arrive in daylight, and grab groceries before you leave town. We'll connect everyone in a group chat beforehand if you want to carpool.

Once you're at camp, we drive everyone to every trailhead and viewpoint.

Coming solo is perfect. About 70% of our guests arrive on their own, specifically to meet new people. The shuttle from Fresno gets you connected before you even reach camp, and our shared meals, hikes and circles make it easy to feel part of the group fast.

Yes. Every Airstream has a mini fridge, a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, dishes and an electric kettle, plus pour-over coffee and tea. It also has a queen memory foam bed, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, heat and AC, and your own patio with a fire pit and grill.

A local chef prepares 3 camp dinners and 2 packed lunches for the trail, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Breakfast is on your own so you can ease into your mornings. The lodge has a small breakfast and coffee station, and a full made-to-order breakfast is available to purchase. You can also stock your Airstream fridge on the grocery stop.

Dietary restrictions or allergies? Just let us know when you book.

Not at all. Yoga is for all levels, with modifications for every pose. Hikes are guided at a pace that works for the group, and we'll talk through anything you're unsure about on a call.

Each day balances adventure, movement and time to simply be. Some mornings start early with sunrise hikes, others ease in with coffee and gentle movement. Midday is for exploring Yosemite together. Afternoons are intentionally open for rest, the pool or journaling. Evenings are for camp dinner, the campfire and connection.

Nothing is forced, and everything is invitational.

Yosemite in May can be warm during the day and cool in the mornings and evenings.

  • Comfortable hiking clothes and layers (light jacket or fleece)
  • Good hiking shoes or trail runners, plus sandals for camp
  • Yoga or lounge clothes and a swimsuit for the pool
  • Reusable water bottle and a daypack
  • Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen
  • Optional: journal, headlamp, cozy wrap for the campfire

Yes, AutoCamp has WiFi if you need to check in at home. But this is Wild + Unplugged, so we encourage phones away on the trail, in circle and at dinner. Most women are surprised how good that feels.

Due to the nature of the retreat and the costs we incur ahead of time, we're not able to offer refunds directly. We highly recommend travel insurance, which protects your investment if you need to cancel due to injury, illness or an unexpected event. You can add "cancel for any reason" coverage for a little extra. We recommend IMG Global.

Most women are between 40 and 70. We've also had women in their 30s and well into their 70s. The common thread isn't age, it's wanting peace, connection and community.

If it's pulling at you, that's your answer.

This retreat is intentionally intimate. Not because we couldn't make it bigger, but because depth happens in smaller circles.

You don't need to be more ready. You just need to say yes.
